How does Invisalign® work?
Invisalign® uses a series of custom-made clear aligners that gradually shift your teeth into the desired position. Each set is worn for about 1–2 weeks before moving on to the next.
Is Invisalign® as effective as braces?
Yes, for most mild to moderate alignment issues. More complex cases may still require traditional braces, but Invisalign® can handle a wide range of orthodontic needs.
How long will treatment take?
Treatment typically lasts 6–18 months depending on your case, but wearing your aligners consistently (20–22 hours per day) is key to staying on track.
Can I eat and drink with Invisalign®?
You’ll remove your aligners to eat and drink anything other than water. This means you can still enjoy all your favorite foods without restrictions.
Will Invisalign® affect my speech?
Some patients notice a slight adjustment period, but most adapt quickly and speak normally within a few days of wearing their aligners.
